Creating two spaces in one room
Use rugs to help define and differentiate areas in rooms.
Short on storage space, get creative
When choosing furniture look for inbuilt storage, beds with drawers etc. We chose to use bookshelves with a dual purpose of not only providing storage but privacy too.
Balance colour around the room
Make sure to use your chosen colours, especially your accent or 'pop' colour, in your entire room - not just condensed in one space. This will give your space a sense of balance and continuity.
